Experiential Event Spotlight: Rose Inc Lipstick Lounge

In a new journal section, we're highlighting the latest experiential events of note by top minds in the industry. Check out the Rose Inc Lipstick Lounge pop-up by TH Productions below, with commentary by Caroline Hadfield, CEO of Rose Inc.

We launched our latest innovation – Rose Inc Satin Lip Color Rich Refillable Lipstick - with a 4-day immersive experience in Soho, New York. To kick off, we hosted intimate preview sessions to unveil the collection and pop-up to media and influencers, generating a storm of earned social buzz.

To build intrigue and provide a glimpse of the brand at start, guests entered the doors to a bright LED platform that lit up with the words “I Feel” and revealed the shade names as you walked over. Guests were then greeted and encouraged to use QR codes throughout the space to order beverages, book makeup services and try our new AR filter on Instagram, which was a unique and playful virtual shade try on.

Given the excitement around the products post-makeup service, we closed the experience with a check-out counter to allow for guests to walk away with their favorite Rose Inc products that day, in addition to pop up specific promotions. The beauty of the décor details and experience led to an unbelievable weekend for 1K+ guests, that are still buzzing about it on social media.

Seasonal Bites: Spring Catering Trends

In-person events are back in full swing, and we’ve been enjoying seeing the bright spring energy manifest in many different ways. From colorful guest attire to an equally vibrant food and bev offering, the spring renewal energy is palpable. We asked catering pros at Maison Benjamin and Great Performances about the top event trend bites and bevs they’ve been serving of late, so read on for culinary inspiration for your next gathering.

“Vegan and gluten-free, healthy dishes and more in particular earthy salads are now included in every menu proposal for this spring,” says Ben Vaschetti, founder of Maison Benjamin.

He continues, “Rosè wine seems as big as ever this year with even an earlier arrival despite chilly temperatures in New York and the Hamptons.”

It seems the vegan trend has been going strong. “There’s been increasing interest in food that’s plant-based and zero-waste – across all event types,” says Carina Hayek, Director of Marketing at Great Performances. “People are so much more aware of their impact on the planet which extends to food choices at events. Our Vegetable Carvery has become even more popular and we’ve been doing a lot of R&D around plant-based takes on classic dishes.”

She continues, “Two dishes we recently featured at an event were our Carrot Tartare (parsley, horseradish, capers, dijon, onyx crisp) and our Chili Glazed Romanesco (savoy cabbage, coconut crème, citrus chutney, herbs). You can also check out our chef Andrew Smith describing our plant-based foods in this video.”
