-Manage daily activities on accounts

-Work with manager to assist with day-to-day contact for media and clients

-Write first draft of media pitches, press releases, media alerts, biographies, etc.

-Stay up to speed on current industry news, trends and technology

-Secure consistent and quality media placements with active pitching

-Develop and maintain solid relationships with journalists, bloggers and social media influencers especially in the travel and lifestyle realms

-Maintain client relations through meetings, conference calls, events, general contact

-Prepare meeting agendas, notes, reports, etc.

-Vet media and influencer requests on behalf of clients

-Monitor and engage on behalf of clients in digital media space as appropriate

-Assist with brainstorming strategic, creative and integrated PR initiatives

-Perform in-depth research and analysis of clients (audits)

-When needed, organize and attend events


-BA or BS in related field

-Minimum one-year related experience in hospitality, travel consumer/CPG and/or lifestyle PR

-Strong verbal and written communication skills

-Proficient in AP style

-Proficiency using Cision/Cisionpoint, Meltwater, Google Analytics, MS applications

-Working knowledge of social networks (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)

-Familiarity with industry-appropriate thought leaders and influencers

-Agency experience is a plus
