Ideal Candidates:

Skillful marketing strategist with publicist instincts

Able to represent agency at client/industry/media events and new business presentations  

Energetic and creative personality

Advanced writing and editing skills

Comfortable communicating with clients, senior management + staff

Maintain a high level of industry and media awareness, keeping abreast of media moves, lifestyle trends, and the current news cycle

Bilingual Spanish/English written and oral skills a plus

Previous experience in lifestyle and travel PR preferred

Requirements:

Must have experience:

Minimum of 4 years of public relations agency experience as a primary client contact preferred; minimum of 4 years in-house experience in a communications role   

Provide creative input and direction to account group, including development of innovative promotions, story ideas, conceptualization of press materials and other client content, knowledge of how to leverage social media in PR programs

Develop strategic media pitches (traditional & online media); arrange and qualify press visits; secure local, regional and national media coverage

Plan and execute client media tours, media events and staff press trips (travel may be required)

Manage day-to-day account activities; monitor program timetable and client budgets

Begin to supervise/train junior team members
