The team of people who make up Segal Communications are smart, strategic, and creative, and we’re looking for Bay Area-based talent to join our team. Segal Communications operates on a hybrid work model, and candidates for this role must be able to work from our San Francisco office.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Senior contact for client accounts - always confirming client satisfaction.
- Maintain a firm understanding of the client industry and the value of placements, mentions or posts to drive their business forward.
- Conduct full-cycle media relations from strategy to placement to reporting, driving high-quality results for their client
- Develop senior press relationships and coordinate contacts with key commentators, industry spokespeople, and sector influencers
- Proactively devise, develop, and oversee the coordination of partnerships
- Seasoned pro when it comes to daily PR related client questions, including planning, timing, media targets, agency services, and capabilities.
- Outline meeting agendas, lead client calls, ensure all client deliverables are completed on time, and regularly check in with team members to track progress and step in where needed
- Be a high performer, confident communicator, and contribute to achieving exceptional outcomes for current clients
- Contribute to the agency’s growth through efforts such as writing blog posts, drafting case studies, and preparing awards materials
- Actively contribute to the growth of the business; participate in new business development
- Manage intern program, including progress reports, check-ins, and day-to-day tasks and responsibilities
- Participate in company retreats, team-building activities, and team office days
- Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to account executives, account coordinators, and interns
