Seeking an experienced account executive to report to the Principal of elemental mktg. The ideal candidate is capable of multi-tasking and appropriately handling initiatives with multiple client accounts. This person will anticipate the needs of clients and the principal and take the initiative to solve problems thoughtfully and with the highest integrity. Job responsibilities include:

-Build and maintain media lists

-Organize client files

-Proactively pitch feature ideas to top-tier national, regional and local consumer and trade media, across all mediums

-Thoughtfully respond to media requests sharing client materials (photos, press materials), as needed

-Propose fresh story ideas that educate and shape editorial opinions

-Monitor traditional media coverage and create reports with results

-Revise, edit, and proofread content as needed or directed

-Maintain press kit materials

-Understand and anticipate client and team needs

-Manage and monitor client social media accounts

-Deliver analytics reports on social media, reporting on traffic, engagement and follower figures

-Maintain knowledge of relevant industry issues relevant to clients

Requirements:

-BA or BS degree

-3-years of relevant PR & marketing experience

-Exhibits integrity, honesty, timeliness and professionalism at all times

-Strong written and verbal communication skills

-Proactively anticipates needs of all stakeholders

-Critical thinker with a strong ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and be resourceful

-Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with quality results

-Polished presenter, skilled listener, relationship builder

-Self-motivated and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in delivering work with a standard of excellence

-Excellent organizational and project management skills; ability to streamline initiatives

-Ability to handle all confidential information and issues in a sensitive manner

-Responds to feedback appropriately in a timely manner

-Ability to adapt to new projects and learn quickly

-Flexibility with work hours

-Proficiency leveraging software platforms to increase efficiency Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides), Meltwater, Asana, Social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter), Bit.ly, Linktr.ee

This is a virtual freelance position starting at 20 hours / week with the opportunity to expand the role
