We’re partnering with a fast-growing, creatively driven PR agency with offices in New York and Miami to find an experienced Account Director. We are open to Sr. Account Directors as well. This agency is known for crafting standout campaigns, building authentic connections, and creating a work environment that feels more like a community than a corporation. What You’ll Be Doing

• Client Leadership
• Own day-to-day relationships with top-tier clients, becoming their go-to strategic partner.
• Lead the development and execution of impactful, insight-driven PR campaigns.
• Build and maintain media relationships to secure meaningful coverage.
• Guide clients through media strategy, crisis communications, and brand storytelling.

Team Management

• Lead a small team of PR professionals (typically 3–4), offering mentorship, structure, and support.
• Foster a collaborative, creative, and high-performing culture.
• Lead with empathy, positivity, and clear direction—this team values real leadership, not micromanagement.

Operations & Strategy

• Work alongside leadership to manage workflow, resourcing, and priorities.
• Stay sharp on media trends and cultural moments that impact your clients.
• Contribute to operational improvements that make great work easier to deliver.

Business Development

• Jump into pitch prep and help bring new brands into the agency family.
• Represent the agency at industry events and in networking spaces.
• Help shape how the agency shows up in the world—authentic, smart, and memorable.

Requirements:

What You BringExperience/Skills

• 8-10+ years in PR or communications, ideally within an agency environment.
• Proven ability to lead both clients and teams with confidence and care.
• Strong media instincts and a track record of earned media wins.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• A calm, strategic presence in high-stakes moments. 
• A mindset that’s creative, collaborative, and solutions-focused.
