Provide strategic direction to clients and team

Responsible for client satisfaction

Maintain client relationships through meetings, conference calls, general contact, meeting agendas, notes, reports, etc.

Oversee account work of two people, providing training, coaching, editing, mentoring and overall sound leadership

Provide strategic, strong and consistent media results and measurement

Handle crisis communications with guidance from senior leadership

Identify story angles and pitches; edit and write press releases, media alerts, photo captions, write high-level media pitches and edit employee’s media pitches, etc.

Support with the development of new business opportunities

Develop and maintain solid relationships with high-level journalists, bloggers and influencers

Organize and attend media events; assist with real estate events – broker event and resident event planning

Provide ideation and campaigns; participate in brainstorms

Recommend and implement strategic events and partnerships

Provide social media strategy, advice, research, campaign ideas and provide and/or supervise communications management

Recognize and bring client issues to supervisor’s attention with a suggested solution

Handle minor client issues independently

Perform research and analysis of clients and the marketplace

Stay on top of current industry news, trends and technology; attend events; network

Be a team player, self-starter and passionate about PR

Play an active role with the company as a whole; active and proactive voice providing industry news, forward-thinking strategy, etc. Encourage team to do the same


Undergraduate degree in related field

Four or more years work experience in real estate and corporate communications

Experience in supervising junior staff is required

Ability to adapt to fast-paced, multi-tasking, unique work environment

Proven ability to resolve client issues quickly and efficiently

Exceptional written and verbal communication skillsAbility to adapt to fast-paced, multi-tasking, unique work environment

Solid portfolio of secured media coverage to include national, magazine, newspaper, TV and online clips (big picture feature placements are a must).

Comprehensive knowledge of the media, including industry-appropriate bloggers and influencers

Comprehensive knowledge of the industry

Working knowledge of social networks (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.)Knowledge of Web design, search engine optimization, and basic HTML are a plus

Proven experience implementing PR campaigns and handling crisis using social networks is a plus

Knowledge in luxury real estate and commercial real estate is a plus
