As a social media assistant, you will report to publicist Kelsey Hertel, supporting our social media and branding clients. This is a full-time job with benefits. *Please note you must already be based in Los Angeles to be considered.
-Assisting in daily content creation and execution of social media posts for clients
-Researching content and brand strategy ideas
-Reaching out to influencers for collaborations
-Creating and managing editorial calendars
-Tracking analytics and putting together monthly status reports for clients
-Participating in brainstorming sessions on how to grow accounts organically
-Attending photo shoots and assisting with creative direction and prop styling
-An advanced knowledge of social media (especially Instagram), including what makes engaging content, writing captions that convert, tracking analytics
-An interest in digital marketing and content creation
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills within a business environment
-A self-starter with the ability to troubleshoot
-A positive, problem-solving attitude
-Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
-Ability to prioritize and manage different personalities
-An interest in sports a plus, as much of your work will be focused on a female focused sports company
-Graphic design experience a plus, especially how to use Canva!
BA degree required. A degree in Communications, Media or other related field a plus.
