A unique opportunity to help a creative, $9-million travel, real-estate, F&B, luxury and lifestyle PR firm start and grow a social-media, content-creation and digital division across offices in NYC, your home base, Miami and LA.  Our clients regularly appear in the top media; we are known for our creative work (recipient of four HSMAI Best of Show Awards), and we are one of the NY Observer’s Most Powerful PR firms of 2018.

The ideal candidate has management experience, exceptional client experience, excellent writing and communication skills, is creative as well as highly visual and design-oriented, and has worked in the hospitality, F&B and/or real-estate industries.  This is a senior-level position for those with at least 6 years of agency, media, independent or in-house social-media, content-creation and digital experience.

Responsibilities:

-Drive new business by networking and helping to win new business

-Write proposals, campaign ideas, presentations and budgets 

-Oversee and elevate the social-media work of a small team, writing strategy and creative decks and timelines, editing and signing off on calendars and posts, Influencer work and reports 

-Provide training, coaching, mentoring, as well as inspiration and support

-Oversee client meetings, providing big-picture, creative and strategic thinking 

-Manage work and results for budgets that conform to our industries

-Recommend and execute paid social-media work

-Establish strong professional relationships with clients

-Source and manage photographers, videographers, freelancers, directors and designers and as needed 

-Integrate social-media work with the firm’s other work, as well as the clients’ paid-digital and SEO arms, to help produce maximum impact, results, engagement, traffic and ROI

-Become a valued industry expert who will reinforce the agency’s creative capabilities and offerings

-Stay on top of current trends

-Work closely with owner and senior leaders in Miami and across all offices

-Start to think like a Chief Marketing Officer

Requirements:

-6 years of social-media, content-creation and digital experience

-Knowledge of at least one of the areas of travel, real-estate and F&B industries; willingness to learn the others

-Excellent written and verbal communications skills

-Excellent visual eye 

-3 years of management experience

-Proficient in Hootsuite, Onlypult and Meltwater social listening/content management tools or the equivalent

-Knowledge of the latest in social-media, content-creation and digital marketing practices
