BACKGROUND 

HL Group is a fast-growing, dynamic New York-based Communications, PR, and Marketing Consulting firm seeking a Showroom Manager to work on a team serving fashion brands in our remote Fashion Operations sample office. The firm specializes in marketing and communications strategies across fashion, lifestyle, interior design, spirits, media and entertainment sectors. 

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES 

-Responsible for improving operational efficiency of the fashion team across NY and LA and adjusting procedures and processes accordingly

-Provide logistic management for seasonal New York Fashion Weeks including but not limited to overseeing the junior training program, managing show staffing, and coordinating team catering and supply orders

-Manage logistics, production and budget of group press previews for NY and LA fashion teams

-Manage all incoming/outbound shipments and samples inventory

-Maintain the office condition and arrange necessary repairs or maintenance requests

-Manage team of PR Assistants and interns based at Fashion Operations

-Reporting to Vice Presidents of Fashion

Requirements:

-Minimum three years of relevant experience on either the agency or client side

-Ability and drive to ways to continually elevate what we do through improving processes and tools

-Exhibits strong writing, communication and presentation skills to effectively articulate ideas to agency and colleagues

-Able to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced work environment

-A supportive leader who empowers and teaches team members

-Experience in showroom management, sample trafficking and reporting

-Exceptional organizational skills a MUST

-Ability to manage two or more team members

-Experience using Launchmetrics (aka: Fashion GPS), TrendKite, and Cision a plus

-Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
