Quinn is a lifestyle public relations agency with global impact. Our disciplined, strategic approach to PR has built some of the largest audiences in the world. We are currently looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our Los Angeles team!

Job responsibilities:

- Secure consistent and quality media placements with proactive pitching

- Monitor, engage, assist in providing strategic counsel and brainstorm innovative campaigns

- Responsible for client satisfaction and strategic results, with supervisor guidance

- Maintain client relationships through meetings, conference calls, general contact

- Oversee the management of daily activities on accounts, taking the lead, as well as troubleshooting for others with supervision

- Write media pitches, press releases, media alerts, photo captions, etc.

- Develop and maintain solid relationships with journalists, bloggers and influencers. Preference for those with established relationships in LA/West Coast

- Prepare meeting agendas, notes, reports, etc. and/or work with team’s account coordinator to do so

- Organize and attend events, including press trips and media tours 

- Recognize if there is a potential client problem and bring it to supervisor’s attention with a suggested solution 

- Perform in-depth research and analysis of clients 

- Assist with developing strategic and creative integrated PR initiatives

- Stay on top of current industry news, trends and technology

- Assist with new business proposals and meetings

Requirements:

- Undergraduate degree in related field

- Three or more years work experience in travel, F&B, lifestyle, architecture/design and/or real estate PR

- Ability to adapt to fast-paced, multi-tasking, unique work environment

- Proven ability to resolve client issues quickly and efficiently

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

- Solid portfolio of secured LA/West Coast and national media coverage including newspaper, magazine, broadcast, and digital/social coverage 

- Comprehensive knowledge of the media, including industry-appropriate bloggers and influencers

- Comprehensive knowledge of the PR industry 

- Working knowledge of social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)

- Online community management experience (Facebook/Instagram page or group administrator, forum administrator, etc.) a plus

- Knowledge of Web design, search engine optimization, and basic HTML are a plus

- Proven experience implementing PR campaigns and handling crisis using social networks a plus
