Sisters & Founders of 12.29 Embark On A New Venture: Scent For Good

Dawn & Samantha Goldworm, founders and sisters of esteemed fragrance company 12.29, are known to create immediate and memorable connections between leading hospitality, fashion, transportation, retail companies and their consumers. After over ten years of success, the duo is using their combined expertise in perfumery and consumer insights, to liberate, heal and bring joy through the emotional power of scent with their new brand, Scent for Good. Scent for Good is a multi-faceted company founded on their shared belief in community, compassion, and care, with the goal of changing the culture around health from everyday luxuries to care experiences.

This month they are launching everyday luxuries designed to bring delight and safety - their first products, a luxury hand sanitizer and mask spray – both designed to help the user feel protected, safe and a little pampered.

The sanitizer is carefully compounded with a dermatologist approved gel-based formula, leaving skin softer after every use. Formulated with the essential oils including Sandal Wood, Bergamot Lemon, Iris Flower, Amber Resin & Tonka Bean. The product is FDA reviewed, registered and IFRA (International Fragrance Association) certified.

The mask spray is formulated with essential oils of fresh amber and clean musk. Designed to be sprayed on the outside of the mask to ease your mind and help you breathe easy. The IFRA certified, first of its kind product, allows users to feel rebalanced, grounded and calm.

Scent for Good products create a new category at the intersection of skincare, self-care, health, and luxury. They all reflect Dawn and Samantha Goldworm’s signature scent design, a wider cultural vision, and proven olfactive expertise. The sisters believe that caring for your own health and wellness and how you feel are not separate rituals.

In addition to creating joy through everyday use, Scent for Good is doing their part to benefit future generations. With their powerful belief in community, humanity and love, Scent for Good has partnered with the Lower Eastside Girls Club, an independent, community-based organization that connects girls and gender non-conforming youth to healthy and successful futures. The organization offers free, year-round, innovative programming in their 35,000 sq ft state-of-the-art facility. In 2020, they have expanded their core mission and service population with the new Center for Wellbeing and Happiness (www.girlsclub.org). The team is also launching a foundation to provide federally funded hospitals and other places of care access to Scent for Good services helping to ease pain through scent in these institutions.
