The opening reception for the Curious Company exhibit was held in the Sky Garden Penthouse at 200 East 20th Street.

The reception brought together artists, collectors, curators, brokers, and friends for an evening of art and conversation set against a stunning summer sunset. Guests moved throughout the penthouse and private roofdeck, taking in sweeping city views while exploring the exhibition. Notable guests included Omar Lopez-Chahoud and Katherine Johnson.

Bringing together works by Paul Joseph Vogeler and Mie Yim, the exhibition presents a menagerie of curious creatures, flowers, birds, vessels, disco balls, and ballet slippers set against the city skyline. Curious Company reveals points of connection between two strikingly distinct artistic practices, creating an unexpected dialogue that is at once strange and beautiful.
