One of the season’s most exclusive invitations saw a handpicked circle of A-list guests step aboard the British Pullman to celebrate Celia, the train’s stunning new private dining carriage. Imagined and designed by visionary filmmaker Baz Luhrmann alongside Oscar-winning costume and production designer Catherine Martin, the carriage was unveiled ahead of its official debut on the rails on May 15.

Co-hosted by Anna Wintour, the very special launch event brought together leading names from the worlds of film, fashion, culture, and sport, including Roger Federer, Tom Ford, Stella McCartney, Alexa Chung, Emma Corrin, Simone Ashley, Mirka Federer, Harry Lambert, Jonathan Yeo, and Francesca Hayward.

The evening began with guests arriving by vintage car to London Victoria station before boarding Celia for an immersive experience in true cinematic style. A champagne reception in Celia’s bar and lounge was followed by a theatrical dinner reveal, a three-course menu, live vocals, and a Baz-curated soundtrack. The celebrations continued with cocktails curated by Monica Berg, music from DJ Alex Gromadzki, and an intimate after-party at Mark’s Club, a fittingly glamorous close to what was an unforgettable evening.
