ASTRSK Announces Judges for Its 2026 Pro Bono Competition

ASTRSK could not be more excited to share the judges for this year’s Pro Bono Competition.

Elliot Tomaeno, founder and CEO, said, "We're so fortunate to have a group like this, with leaders from venture capital and family offices alongside past winners whose journey captures exactly why this competition exists, including the sisters behind Mimi Cheng’s."

Tomaeno also stated, "What makes this group especially meaningful is not just their pedigree. It’s that they all come from the underrepresented communities this contest was built to support in the first place. That matters deeply to us."

The Judging Panel:

  • Jordan Crook (pictured left), Partner at Betaworks, has backed companies like Granola, Hopscotch Labs, and Tato, after spending more than a decade at TechCrunch.
  • Abyah Nycole Wynn (pictured center) is a venture capitalist and family office executive with deep expertise in investment strategy, governance, and long-term value creation.
  • Hannah Cheng and Marian Cheng (pictured respectively right) are the co-founders of Mimi Cheng's Dumplings, the beloved New York brand that turned their mother’s Taiwanese dumplings into a cult favorite.
