Hachette Book Group has announced multiple promotions across its central marketing team.
Leigh Marchant is pleased to announce Rae Foote has been promoted to Assistant Director of Marketing Technology & Operations. Rae joined Hachette a little over a year ago and, since then, has had a profound effect on marketing operations and technology strategy. In this expanded role, Rae will lead efforts to improve operational workflows across marketing and e-commerce initiatives; partner closely with IT to translate Central Marketing’s business needs into technical solutions; and oversee project and product management for marketing technology stack and integrated systems. In addition to having a deep understanding of marketing technologies and a desire to find effective and timely solutions, Rae is also a wonderful collaborator who works seamlessly across teams. Her sharp thinking, positive spirit, and great sense of humor make her not only an invaluable partner but also a trusted (and fun!) colleague.
Aparna Rishi is pleased to share Adrianne Hutto has been promoted to Marketing Coordinator, effective March 16, and will work across both Hachette Audio and Central Marketing teams. Since she joined Hachette Book Group, first as an intern before joining central marketing full-time, Adrianne has been an incredible asset—consistently enthusiastic, thoughtful, and eager to jump into any project. She brings creativity, curiosity, and care to every project with a genuine interest in learning across functions. Hachette is thrilled for her expanded role and excited to see what she accomplishes next. Adrianne will now support Audio in marketing and publicity campaigns, audio research initiatives, and contribute to central marketing’s seasonal campaigns and wider content creation plans for various digital platforms.
Rishi is also pleased to share that Mariya Delano joined Hachette as Manager, Email, Retention, and Automation Marketing last month. Mariya comes from an agency background where she helped brands earn trust and increase buyer confidence, driving sustainable growth through strategic content marketing.
Charlotte Bryla is pleased to share Natali Cavanagh has been promoted to Advertising Manager, Children’s Books. Natali re-joined Hachette Book Group about one year ago after having started her career here on the Little, Brown Books for Young Readers team. She’s since played an integral role in the strategic oversight and execution of Amazon and direct campaigns for children’s and gift titles. Her thoughtful, curious, and meticulous work led to an over 30% increase in return on advertising spend year-over-year for the imprints whose campaigns she managed over the course of 2025. She has a wealth of knowledge about children’s literature and uses that to constantly push the envelope of the tactics we employ for Hachette Book Group kids' books. In her new role, Natali will be overseeing all children’s campaigns at Hachette Book Group. Allison Broeils, who joined the central ads team in January, will report to Natali to assist with the management of these campaigns.
Victoria Crow has been promoted to Advertising Associate, Programmatic. Since joining Hachette Book Group first as an intern and then as an assistant on the advertising team, Victoria has demonstrated an incredible aptitude for learning and an eagerness to jump into any project. Over her tenure on the advertising team, she’s handled both direct and programmatic advertising primarily for nonfiction titles. Her quick, meticulous, and analytical mindset resulted in an over 50% year-over-year improvement in return on advertising spend for the imprints she managed. Starting in January, Victoria is reporting to Joseph Benincase and handling programmatic campaigns across Amazon, Meta, Google, and more.
Additionally, Bryla is happy to share that Rachel Rodriguez will be joining the TikTok Shops team starting March 23 as a marketing and operations associate. In this role, Rachel will oversee influencer management and content monetization on the Shops, as well as collaborate closely with Bryla on campaign and influencer strategies and assist in operational oversight of various developments for the Shops.
Jayme Boucher is thrilled to announce the promotion of Sophia Kloster to Associate, Hachette Speakers Bureau and Marketing Strategy. Sophia took a leap of faith, moving to NYC for her job at Hachette, and quickly established herself as an invaluable member of the Hachette Speakers Bureau team. Over the past year and a half, she’s held split roles with Hachette Speakers Bureau and both the Communications and D2C teams, gaining broad experience, and now she’s ready to deepen her role. In addition to agenting for her own authors and cultivating relationships with event sponsors, she will continue to support social media channels, newsletters, pitches, financial reporting, and logistics. She will also be working alongside the Central Marketing team to support consumer-facing events, such as Bookcon and ComicCon. Sophia’s approach to work is joyful, determined, and curious, and Hachette is excited to see her grow in this next chapter of her career.
Kate Travers is pleased to share Jerrad Matthew has been promoted to Senior Manager, Digital Marketing. Jerrad moved to the Hachette Book Group Central Marketing team as part of the Union Square integration in the spring of 2025. When the team saw his incredibly thoughtful brand direction for the Knock Knock and Em & Friends brands, they knew he would be the visionary leader needed for the pageaday.com calendar & gift business, which increased by 3% in 2025. Throughout his time with the company, Jerrad has carved out a niche as a project manager, designer, writer, and all-around innovator. With his unique viewpoint and expertise, he has brought a design-focused approach to the company's direct-to-consumer brand sites and championed the CRM platform change to Klaviyo for the company’s CRM marketing, aiming to continually improve the customer experience.
