KADIST Presents Two International Exhibitions Exploring Labor, Care, and Collective Futures

In Spring–Summer 2026, KADIST presents two collaborative international exhibitions: Threads of Kinship (pictured left) in Shunde, China (March 13 – June 30, 2026) and The Plantation Plot (pictured right) in Paris, France (April 18 – July 11, 2026). While distinct in geography and focus, the exhibitions are conceptually linked, examining how systems of labor, care, and collective organization continue to shape social, political, and intimate life across contexts.

Presented in collaboration with He Art Museum (Shunde, China) and ILHAM Gallery (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia), the projects reflect KADIST’s ongoing commitment to cross-institutional partnerships and collaborative curating. Drawing from KADIST’s collection and extended research processes, the exhibitions bring together artists whose practices engage with feminist labor histories, plantation economies, textile production, and forms of chosen kinship.
