Andaz Miami Beach Celebrates Art Basel With Private Preview of Luca Pronzato and Sabine Marcelis Collaboration was posted to the gallery

To open Art Basel Miami Beach 2025, Andaz Miami Beach hosted a private cocktail preview unveiling its collaboration with WE ARE ONA founder Luca Pronzato and designer Sabine Marcelis. The event marked the hotel’s first Art Basel Miami activation and introduced the four-day immersive dining experience.

Guests arrived at Vista Terrace, an ocean-facing space transformed by Marcelis’ signature material and light-driven aesthetic. Central to the installation is a seven-meter travertine dining table and a sculptural bar created with SolidNature, featuring fused stone and color-treated glass, a continuation of the designer’s acclaimed Beyond The Surface work. Bocci’s atmospheric lighting completes the setting, adding warmth and sculptural dimension throughout the room.

José Andrés, Luca Pronzato, and Sabine Marcelis hosted the preview, welcoming tastemakers and cultural figures including Emilio Estefan, Chaucey Bell, Claudia Vergara, Victoria Vesce, Danie Gomez-Ortigoza, Vanessa Torres, Bethan Laura Woods, Nadime Castellano, Taylor Stoddard and more.

Guests enjoyed champagne, cocktails, and passed bites from José Andrés Group, including caviar cones, chicken croquetas, serrano ham, oysters, and grilled cheese bites.

About the Dining Experience

Beginning Tuesday, December 2, the public is invited to experience a seated lunch or dinner blending design, culinary craftsmanship, and storytelling. The menu, created by José Andrés Group and inspired by Aguasal’s Mediterranean-meets-Miami philosophy, is served within Marcelis’ sculptural installation.

Menu highlights include:

  • Cobia “Pastrami” Crudo with coastal rub, melon, mustard vinaigrette
  • Spanish Octopus with hazelnut emulsion 
  • Braised Short Rib with truffled potato purée


House of Suntory beverage pairings include:

  • Astoria Sour (Toki Whisky, oloroso, mavrodaphne, lemon, red wine float)
  • Mélissa (Roku gin, calvados, lemon, honey, orange blossom)
  • Anatolia (Haku Vodka, Aperol, strawberry, grapefruit, lime, vanilla)


The collaboration reflects WE ARE ONA’s approach to creating dining experiences that merge gastronomy with art and design while bringing together a global creative community during Miami Art Week.
