Fasano, the internationally acclaimed hospitality group celebrated for over a century of Italian excellence, is proud to announce the debut of Fasano Bar, a permanent transformation of its former Osteria space at 60 E 49th Street. Designed by world-renowned architect Isay Weinfeld, the new venue introduces a refined cocktail bar and lounge, expanding Fasano’s New York presence with a setting that blends tradition, sophistication, and contemporary energy.
Fasano Bar offers an elevated experience with a curated beverage program and a menu of refined Italian dishes, designed to complement the spirit of aperitivo while welcoming patrons for pre-dinner cocktails and a late-night ambiance. From 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., visitors can enjoy stuzzichini plates such as Mozzarella in Carrozza, Frittura diCalamari, and Vitello Tonnato. After 7 p.m., the menu shifts to Milanese specialties served alongside signature cocktails, mirroring the offerings in the main dining room. The space is defined by sleek design, warm wood tones,mid-century Brazilian influences, and plush intimate seating, evoking the feel of a timeless salon. At its center, a striking bar anchors the room, while a DJ curates lively music that enhances the refined yet convivial atmosphere.
“Fasano Bar represents an evolution of our legacy in New York,” says Gero Fasano. “We wanted to create a space that feels both timeless and contemporary — a place where design, hospitality, and culture come together to offer our guests an experience that is uniquely Fasano.”
The debut of Fasano Bar further enriches the group’s New York flagship, which already encompasses the celebrated Fasano restaurant, renowned for its Northern Italian cuisine, world-class wine program, and discreetly luxurious interiors, alongside Baretto, the intimate upstairs bar known for live jazz and bossa nova, and the distinct Fasano Fifth Avenue private members club and hotel. Together, they form a destination that embodies the sophistication and heritage of the Fasano name, now complemented by a new dimension of nightlife and social vibrancy.
