Founded in 1971 by architect Peter Hellmers, Lathams began as an expression of his passion for home design in the market town of Epping. By offering both garden and interior shopping experiences under one roof, Lathams became the go-to destination for home improvements, a groundbreaking concept that predated the surge of DIY chain superstores.
