Wellness Wherever You Are

The wellness industry has seen exponential growth over the past few years, with both physical locations and digital platforms popping up to help consumers’ fitness, mental health and more. We could all use a little mindfulness in our daily lives, whether that’s via an on-demand meditation session, a live stream Pilates class or a full-on spa day. Check out some of the latest launches, in addition to future offerings not to be missed.

Open

Open, a mindfulness studio, helps users tune into the present moment via their app. Practices include meditation, music, breathwork and movement, and can be enjoyed on-demand or via live stream. It’s a great way to take a class with a friend in another city, as well as gain access to the top wellness leaders across the states. The team also hosts IRL classes in the LA area, so keep an eye out for announcements if you’re local.

The Core Collection

Longtime private pilates instructor Alina Sedano has made her unique specialization available to all through The Core Collection. The newly-launched platform offers an on-demand digital membership, which includes access to classes like Pilates, functional foam rolling, restorative sessions and more. The classes range from 12 to 30 minutes each, making them super convenient whether you’re at home or in a hotel room.

THE WELL

Currently open in NYC and Washington, Connecticut, THE WELL unites holistic health practices and chic, minimalist design for the ultimate R&R day. They call it “ your complete ecosystem for wellness,” which is exactly what it is. From spa treatments and fitness classes to access to specialists in Eastern and Western medicine, this gorgeous space offers it all.

Aman NYC

Opening this fall, Aman New York is taking spa standards to another level. The roughly 25,000 sq. ft. space fills three stories complete with an indoor pool, fire pits and daybeds. The property will also feature two decked out Spa Houses, where guests can enjoy treatments, sauna and steam rooms and an outdoor terrace.

Sensei Porcupine Creek

Sensei, the renowned wellness brand, has just announced the arrival of an ultra-luxury retreat called Sensei Porcupine Creek in Rancho Mirage, California. Set to open in early 2022, it’ll be the brand’s first standalone retreat, taking over an expansive 230-acre estate. Sensei services will of course fall into the Sensei Way, which focuses on three pillars: move, nourish and rest. While we wait for this epic opening, you can explore the services at its sister property, Sensei Lāna’i, A Four Seasons Resort in Hawaii.
