Weekend Roundup: Memorial Day Edition

Our travel plans may have been postponed, but we're ready to make the most of Memorial Day weekend. One of the major takeaways from this week's panel, actually, was around the many ways technology is enabling us to still have meaningful experiences. So, start the summer off with a little virtual vacay, lots of arts and culture, plus refreshing recipes that will lift your spirits.

Hvar, Croatia

Mentally vacation via this livestream of the idyllic island of Hvar, Croatia.

Another good one for the mind: Carillon Miami Wellness Resort is offering complimentary online support sessions with Dr. Carolina Pataky, P.H.D., L.M.F.T., Emotional & Relationship Therapist and Co-Founder of the Love Discovery Institute. RSVP for the weekly Saturday sessions here.

Explore Storm King Art Center's special online exhibition, which explores six decades of art in nature (marking its 60th anniversary in 2020).

Check out Almine Rech's new online exhibition on May 26th, featuring new works by 18 artists based in NY and NJ. Bonus: Almine Rech and the artists will donate 50% of each sale to the Coalition for the Homeless in NYC to support communities in the wake of COVID-19.⁣ ⁣

Listen to a designer playlist: Duravit enlisted design partners Philippe Starck, Christian Sieger, Kurt Merki Jr. and Christian Werner to curate an inspiring custom playlist on Spotify

And, finally, have a drink. This week's recipes include a fun frozen cocktail (and it's healthy!), a dessert-worthy take on breakfast for dinner, plus a classic favorite. Cheers.
