Watch their episode covering the importance of a healthy, protected skin barrier, the external and internal influences that can impair and destroy the skin barrier function, and how teenagers and young adults can turn hormonal and acne-prone skin into healthy, clear and radiant skin. They shared their views, experiences and approaches with Masterclass attendees and provided advice for the best methods, techniques and ingredient science to help take care of teen and young adult skin. What We're Drinking
Boulevardier's Hymnal (Chris Hannah, Jewel of the South New Orleans)
This cocktail is part of BACARDI's Tip Your Bartender initiative!
1¾ parts BACARDÍ Reserva Ocho Rum
¾ part amaro
½ part Aperol
Orange peel
Method: Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass filled with ice. Stir until chilled and strain into a rock glass over ice. Garnish with an expressed orange twist.
Orange Crush (Trevor Schneider, Reyka Vodka Brand Ambassador)
1.5 parts Reyka Vodka
3 parts fresh orange juice
Sprite or soda
Orange slice
Method: Build by combining all ingredients in a pint glass. Top with soda and garnish with an orange slice.
Irish Coffee (Donna Stewart, Tullamore D.E.W Brand Ambassador)
2 parts Tullamore D.E.W. Original
1 tbsp brown sugar
Heavy cream, slightly whipped
Freshly brewed hot coffee
Grated nutmeg or cinnamon
Method: Preheat a clear-stemmed glass with very hot water. Add the sugar and brewed coffee and stir well. Once sugar has melted, stir in the whisky. Gently whip the heavy cream by shaking it in a protein shaker with a blender ball – you want a still somewhat loose, not stiff consistency. Pour the cream over the back of a hot teaspoon to top the drink (and prevent cream from penetrating the top of the drink). Garnish with grated nutmeg or cinnamon for spicy finish.
Mango Margarita (PUBLIC Hotel NYC)
2oz Avión Blanco Tequila
.25oz Cointreau
1oz Mango purée
.75oz Lime juice
.25oz Simple syrup
Method: Add contents to shaker. Shake with ice until cold. Serve in rocks glass. Garnish with lime wheel.
