Taking from her career experience, Powers PR founder Lana Powers set out to offer brands a boutique, in-house experience that larger-scale agencies simply can’t replicate. Now, her team of nine women works closely with emerging and established wellness brands, acting as a fully integrated partner. Over the past year, Powers PR won marquee clients within the wellness industry and expanded the team by 125%. The agency was also responsible for reinvigorating the 18-year-old Cheribundi brand in a subsequent partnership with Olympic speed skater Erin Jackson, and was also tasked with announcing the rebrand of woman-first skincare brand Rory to Ro Derm. Powers PR’s boutique approach also came through in their first annual multi-brand Holiday Market at 1 Hotel Central Park. The event was developed as a one-stop event for media and influencers to explore and engage with their clients, during a time when post-pandemic event burnout was rampant.
