The PR Net Next Gen, 2023: Foxglove Communications

Foxglove Communications can be best described as an agency that supports the innovators propelling the hospitality industry forward. From chefs and restaurants to bars and hotels, the team works on a diverse client list including influential Asian, Haitian, African and Cuban creators and entrepreneurs. Much of their work is rooted in inclusivity; 95% of their roster has individuals who identify as women, LBGTQIA+, and/or BIPOC in positions of leadership or ownership. Four of their high-profile clients identify as openly sober, and the team places a concerted effort on fostering coverage of safe sober spaces and initiatives for those with substance abuse histories. The team that comprises the agency is equally as diverse: they grew from three to eight this year (including the agency's first VP, Andrea Jackson Ott), and now have footprints in NYC, Philadelphia, Nashville, Delaware, New Orleans, Charleston and Germany. You can often find founder Gia Vecchio speaking on panels and conferences, or fulfilling her role as an adjunct instructor for Drexel University.
