The Day One Agency (D1A) team is driven by culture, both creating campaigns in response to of-the-moment trends and creating cultural moments in their own right. Tapped by some of the world’s top brands, D1A has quickly grown into a best-in-class agency with 176 people across creative hubs in NY, LA, Chicago and Portland. The past year saw the inception of innovative agency offerings further bolstering their position as an industry leader. The agency launched Day One Studios in their LA office, empowering the team to create platform-right assets fast, including static photos, short-form video content for TikTok and Reels and long-form content for YouTube. Their Writer’s Room is a brainstorming space where the team gathers on Monday, with the goal of activating their ideas before the weekend; successful campaigns born in the Writer’s Room include trend-driven TikTok campaigns for Chipotle, Ferrara, Laffy Taffy and Walmart. Through their AskGenZ.com platform, clients, partners, and curious Millennials alike can ask questions and get insights straight from the source. They’ve also channeled their creativity to develop DEI initiatives like The Ones to Know, a resource of creators from diverse communities designed to elevate the voices of underrepresented, minority communities. D1A’s most culture-worthy campaigns of the year include small biz initiatives with American Express, a viral TikTok sound for Nike’s 50th anniversary and concepting the first-ever restaurant in the Metaverse with Chipotle – also the first brand to intercept the viral “Corn Kid” story on TikTok.
