When a PR vet and an advertising pro come together, you get a masterful level of storytelling. That’s how Confidant started, and today the marketing and communications agency tells such stories for clients across food & beverage, CPG, pet care, tech, entertainment, hospitality, and more. A couple of examples: “Can’t Fly...Have a Fry,” an integrated campaign and free fry promo to insert Shake Shack into 2021’s chaotic holiday travel news cycle; and a holiday creative campaign for Diageo, “Know When to Stop,” which celebrated moderation through clever social content. Confidant made a significant investment in its team this year, bringing on three leadership-level hires – Marie-Sophie Lantin, Andy Izquierdo and Suzy Sammons – and three senior colleagues, Emma Maliszewski, Amber Morasse and Jessica Rosa. Leadership is also dedicated to helping young aspiring PRs get their start; The Confidant Scholarship is a diversity and inclusion initiative that pairs a $10k scholarship with a paid internship in the agency’s NYC office, plus ongoing mentorship for an undergraduate advertising and PR student.
