The PR Net 100, 2024: Langton PR Inc.

Based in Toronto, LANGTON offers premier PR services to an elite roster of beauty and lifestyle brands across Canada and the United States. In the past year, LANGTON played a pivotal role in conceptualizing the SheaMoisture Dream Fund, a grant program designed to provide Black female entrepreneurs with crucial financial support and educational resources. The agency also spearheaded the Listen B*tch Billboards for Mental Health initiative, which spread positive affirmations throughout Toronto during a challenging period for mental health. LANGTON further showcased its commitment to empowerment with the Shea & Champagne Networking Series, creating a supportive space for Black female entrepreneurs to connect and learn from one another. LANGTON has also experienced significant growth; Unilever, impressed by LANGTON's innovative approach, awarded the agency additional business following RFP revisions. The agency's recent projects have helped attract more business within the BIPOC community, collaborating with publications, charities, and brands focused on Black and South Asian communities. LANGTON has evolved from a beauty PR firm to a broader agency that emphasizes purposeful work and cultural storytelling, expanding its influence beyond traditional beauty sectors.

Describe the key tenets of your agency's mission and ethos.

“The sky is never the limit: We don't put limitations on our visions and take those visions to life for our clients. We are visionaries who see things bigger and stay ahead with the current trends, exploring unique and different ways to build relationships, share messages, and make an impact on communities, especially underserviced. We push our clients to do more and be more, and don't offer a cookie cutter approach. We understand uniqueness and individuality, and seek ways to amplify brands in authentic, real ways. We are a proudly BIPOC and LBGTQ owned company, and thus it is ingrained in who we are and the breath of our work. We work to create spaces, ignite conversations, disrupt the industry, and shine the light on the voices that need to be heard.”
