The PR Net 100, 2024: Exposure

Exposure houses a team of 30 creative communications experts out of its NYC headquarters, one of three global offices (counting London and Paris) known for a highly customized approach to client work. Over the past year, Exposure has achieved several notable milestones. The agency successfully drove the reappraisal of The Original Jelly, a signature product by Melissa, by reasserting its authority in fashion and appealing to Gen Z and Millennial women. Additionally, Exposure orchestrated a nationwide celebration for The New York Times Games, marking the 1000th edition of Wordle with a campaign that partnered with over thirty brands including Joe's Pizza and MoMA, resulting in a record number of app downloads and gameplay. The relaunch of Jim Beam Black saw Exposure create an immersive experience in NYC, capturing cultural buzz through a multi-sensory event that highlighted the brand's new seven-year-aged liquid and bottle design. Exposure's recent growth has been fueled by strategic hires, including a Director of Culture and a VIP and Influencer Senior Manager further solidifying their position on the global playing field.

Describe the key tenets of your agency's mission and ethos.

“Be Honest (Respect): Exposure continues to build on its relationship with longstanding clients such as Dr. Martens, injecting the brand into the most unexpected and immersive cultural conversations and moments over 20+ years of partnership. Exposure has also established a strong sense of trust with new clients such as The New York Times, which has grown from one retainer to over six new projects and a newly appointed Comms Seeding Retainer within just one year. This is achieved through providing excellent client servicing, honest and open discussion and senior counsel and consistent earned creative ideas.”
