What makes your agency a great place in which to work? How have you fostered a positive workplace culture?

“Everyone who comes to work here says that the best part of it is the world-changing clients they get to work on and the kind, collaborative, and humble humans they get to work alongside on our team. But we also think deeply about the type of culture we are offering to everyone, whether they are here for a year or a decade. A lot of people have really good intentions about the type of boss they'd like to be or the type of environment they would like to create for people to work in. However, we have realized that it takes expertise, experience, policies, and practice to carry out those good intentions. For example, someone might desire to promise their staff great work/life balance, but then 8-hour days of meetings leave no room for work to get done during the work day and suddenly you have team members working into their early mornings and late nights regularly. So, while we have big hearts and deep empathy for our team, we have gone far beyond good intentions to build a culture of psychological safety in which people can thrive.”
