The PR Net 100, 2024: Communité

Over the past year, Communité has made significant strides, reinforcing its position as a forward-thinking strategic communications agency with a strong digital focus. The agency played a pivotal role in Paperless Post’s 15th-anniversary celebration, ideating and executing a marketing and communications strategy that garnered coverage in the New York Times and Vogue. Communité also celebrated a major milestone with long-term client Katie Sturino, founder of Megababe, who sat down with Oprah to discuss diet culture and body acceptance—a defining moment for the agency and Sturino's mission. Additionally, the agency’s relationship with Hill House and its founder, Nell Diamond, continues to flourish, with Diamond earning accolades from top publications and making high-profile appearances, including at the 2024 Met Gala. This past year has also seen substantial growth for Communité, particularly in its creator division. The agency's dual approach of PR and creator campaigns has driven this expansion, with 75% of PR clients now engaging in creator campaigns—up from 25% in 2023.

What makes your agency a great place in which to work? How have you fostered a positive workplace culture?

“We are proud of the positive workplace we have created, and focus on growth and retention. With unparalleled access to our senior leadership, we offer unique learning opportunities to our employees. At the manager level and above, our employees have been working with Communité for four-plus years. Half of our clients have been working with us for six years (i.e., since our founding in 2018). This focus on growth and retention builds deep relationships between the agency, our employees, and our clients that strengthen and drive more top-level thinking and results over time. We also value work/life balance, which is a key reason we keep our client list tight and curated. Our employees are assigned the right amount of work and clients, so we can deliver top-level results without burnout.”
