The PR Net 100, 2023: Carol Fox & Associates

Since its launch nearly 30 years ago, Carol Fox & Associates (CF&A) has evolved from a local Chicago agency to an international one, serving clients in the art, entertainment and culture space across New York, Los Angeles, Denver, Toronto and more. Over the past year, CF&A’s clients continued to expand across the U.S. and Canada, prompting leadership to build a network of PR agencies throughout North America in order to give clients the high-impact results they’re known for, with the added bonus of local expertise. CF&A remains a leader at home, too; after their work on the Chicago editions of cultural moments like Immersive Van Gogh and The Friends Experience, the parent companies of each contracted CF&A as their national agency of record. As an early adopter of influencer marketing as a service, the agency continues to support clients through its now independent influencer department.

Explain how your agency is pushing the boundaries of PR and communications by integrating innovative strategies, tools, or technologies to enhance your offerings and benefit your clients.

“Throughout the agency’s history, CF&A is proud to be a nimble, quick-thinking group that can figure out how to deliver on almost any client ask. As the demand for influencer relations increased in the past several years, CF&A was an early adopter of the service, offering influencer relations as an add-on for PR clients. As the industry and demand grew, CF&A quickly saw the benefit of building out a proper department and hired full-time staff to support it. Today, the agency has solidified department processes, software and best practices to create an independent, fully functioning influencer department. CF&A now leads influencer relations efforts for some of the country’s most “Instagrammable” experiences and organizations, which has led to an influx of new business inquiries and measurable, high-impact client outcomes. Influencer relations has become a cornerstone of the agency’s approach to client strategy.”
