The PR Net 100, 2022: Antenna Group

B2B companies in high-growth and high-impact markets trust Antenna Group to bring their meaningful technologies, services and products to life. A perfect example: Antenna’s successful partnership with longtime client Google Nest to promote the brand’s new clean energy service, Nest Renew. Antenna also recently launched its public affairs practice to help clients establish themselves in the public dialogue surrounding climate and sustainability, and advance their positions on policies that affect their organizations. The launch of this new practice area was accompanied by a new office in Washington D.C., and the hiring of Public Affairs EVP Andy Beck. Additional leadership hires include long-time Edelman and MRY executive Eric Schoenberg joining as the agency’s first chief operating officer, and real estate and lifestyle PR expert Gina Faridniya joining as a vice president in the agency’s Spaces (real estate) practice. Antenna had a standout year from both a staffing and client perspective, with more to come as they build out an ESG practice area.

How are you innovating and moving the industry forward?

“Antenna takes on clients that have innovation at the heart of their missions. We help clients future-proof themselves in the dynamic, ever changing industries of cleantech, real estate, mobility and health. Through our network, Antenna acts as the connective tissue between companies, investors, strategics and influencers to mobilize change and solve global challenges. Our relationships and execution prowess helps our clients win new business, create industry partnerships and attract prominent investors. We go beyond our core service offering to facilitate these direct connections through curated VIP dinners, high-touch personal introductions and investor matchmaking events. Antenna innovates beyond just through our clients. We believe that it takes a village and that our successes must be both celebrated and shared. Antenna announced in June 2022 the implementation of an employee profit sharing plan (PSP) which enables employees to receive additional compensation at the close of the year and to share a portion of the agency’s overall profits. The PSP initiative is unique to our industry and displays Antenna’s commitment to its employees. It is an acknowledgement that every (full-time) staff member — regardless of department or seniority level — plays a critical role in the agency’s success.”
