Case in point: founder Akbar Hamid announced the launch of a Cryptocurrency, Blockchain & NFT Division earlier this year. Among the agency’s many accolades, Hamid, a first-generation Pakistani-American, was nominated for the Good Morning America inspiration list celebrating the AAPI community (the company is also a Forbes Next 1,000 honoree). The agency has expanded from NYC to include offices in Miami and Los Angeles, and has also brought on senior-level hires from the fashion and PR worlds to further strengthen its foothold in all markets.

Is there a big industry trend you’re backing in terms of your agency offering, and why do you think this area will continue to grow and influence the PR practice? 

We strongly believe in the integration of cryptocurrency and NFTs into every aspect of consumer lifestyle. We launched 5Crypto – our cryptocurrency, blockchain and NFT division – to service clients in the space as well as advise brands across all sectors on how they can incorporate the new technology to create unique offerings and programs for their clients. Cryptocurrency, NFTs and blockchain are becoming more and more mainstream and here to stay. It is our job to educate our clients and consumers on what the technology and offerings are and how they can better their user and client experiences.
