Katharina Plath launched Head & Hand PR to connect people in the art and design field on an international level. Over the last 10 years, that vision has very much come to be; the NYC-based firm has successfully managed and launched luxury home brands and interior designers into the American market. The multilingual team is positioned to reach both a national and international audience, specializing in the luxury design, lifestyle, real estate and art industries. Among the year’s key wins was the team’s collaboration with the Rockwell Group to position an iconic Roche Bobois sofa in the interview area of the 93rd Annual Academy Awards. Most recently, Head & Hand invested in and now offers services in branding and social media strategy and support, as well as media buying.

What are you most proud of as a leader?
There are many elements that make me proud as a leader. I am very proud of our wonderful team that is the heartbeat of our agency. Each team member brings to the table their own unique offerings and talent to each client we service and in tandem, we work together seamlessly and efficiently. Together we imagined new ways to do business. PR is now only a facet of our services. New services we offer include but are not limited to paid media strategy and buying, short-term contract consulting, marketing automation, brand content strategy, and creation, etc.
For our team, we invested in an Art History crash course from the renaissance to the present day. We are proud to constantly push forward by educating ourselves, while also embracing new ideas and concepts.
I am most proud of the fact that I was able to keep my team together during the pandemic and as a team found creative solutions to keep our wonderful long-standing clients well-serviced during an uncertain time.
