The PR Net 100: DADA Goldberg

DADA Goldberg

Co-founders Defne Aydintasbas and Rebecca Goldberg-Brodsky have seen much success for DADA Goldberg – their design, travel and real estate communications firm – over the past year or so. Most recently, The agency expanded to Los Angeles this year, with the addition of a Director of Digital, Eleanor Amari, who previously ran social for Kelly Wearstler. Their art and design products team has expanded with talents who worked for Art Basel and other notable brands, and the projects team (which oversees commercial and residential real estate developments and hotels) has doubled in size. Client-wise, DADA Goldberg has had a long-standing relationship with Athena Calderone, and is supporting her new product development work. The team oversaw the positioning and launch of The Lake House on Canandaigua, which was the first project under the Long Weekend Hospitality portfolio. Another notable project this year: working with Hendricks Churchill on the placement of Eva Chen's home in Architectural Digest. The agency’s clients are regulars on the Conde Nast Traveler and Travel + Leisure lists as well as the Elle Decor A List.

Is there a big industry trend you’re backing in terms of your agency offering, and why do you think this area will continue to grow and influence the PR practice?

We are developing one of the most robust content creation arms out there. We have always worked with our brands to not just tell but advance their stories but more and more, we're developing programming, bringing in partnerships that make news, and inventing the story. That philosophy is now crossing over into our digital work as we help clients show what makes them different. We develop visual campaigns with photographers and videographers, manage copywriting and community. We also forge strategic relationships that grow audiences through social placements.
