The partners at boutique communications firm Battalion counsel clients with their expertise in public and media relations, events, influencer engagement, celebrity services and social amplification. Battalion recently joined forces with Agentry to share an office/showroom space and also collaborate on brand building initiatives that align their respective clients. This year, Battalion forged a partnership between Lightbox, the disruptive lab-grown diamond jewelry brand, and The Surf Lodge in Montauk, NY. The collaboration included an innovative wellness program, pop-up retail and numerous tastemaker and press activations. The agency also saw success working on De Beers' Ten Ten initiative to re-imagine the engagement ring.

Is there a big industry trend you’re backing in terms of your agency offering, and why do you think this area will continue to grow and influence the PR practice? 

I have been an advocate for sustainability since the early 2000s when I opened a retail boutique focused on sustainable products… and I've never stopped. It's not just a buzzword, it's how every agency, every client, every consumer needs to be thinking today. I'm proud that we represent many brands for whom this is a priority, and we get to work with them on breakthrough programs that are making a real difference in the world.
