From restored historic landmarks to remote retreats you can only reach by boat, this season’s hotel openings prove that the most memorable stays offer a point of view. Below, we’re rounding up the properties already open, plus a look at what’s arriving through 2027.
Now Open
The Webster Covent Garden - London, UK

New lifestyle brand The Webster makes its debut with this 167-room hotel overlooking Lincoln’s Inn Fields. London studio Red Deer designed it around the idea of magical realism, where everyday settings reveal small moments of wonder. Literary nooks and intimate lounges set an unhurried tone, offering a deliberate counterpoint to the pace of digital life. Food and drink are an Italian affair: Carmelina’s serves handmade pasta and seasonal seafood from an open kitchen, Carmelina’s Al Banco channels a Milanese neighborhood bar from breakfast through aperitivo, and Carla’s is a hidden late-night bar inspired by Italy’s Italo-disco hideaways.
Hotel Vin Rogers, Autograph Collection - Rogers, AR

Northwest Arkansas’s growing wine scene takes center stage at this 125-room hotel, where two sommeliers steer the program across three distinct venues. Bacchus Kitchen + Bar pairs modern American cooking built on regional flavors with a curated list, Ridge Rooftop Lounge offers an elevated setting, and Magnum Speakeasy pours 16 wines on tap. Beyond the glass, the Ozarks offer more than 200 miles of biking and hiking trails, the 40-mile Razorback Greenway, public art and a buzzy local dining scene.
Kilchoan Estate by Dunton - Knoydart Peninsula, Scotland

Dunton’s first European property spans 13,000 acres of wild Highland terrain on the Knoydart Peninsula, reachable only by boat or on foot. Five restored stone-and-timber cottages, each with two to five bedrooms, share a spa with a sauna and yoga studio, while the Long House brings guests together for communal meals. Days are spent hiking, kayaking, fishing and spotting wildlife, and stays are fully inclusive of meals, drinks and ferry transfers.
La Réserve Private Homes Seychelles - Praslin, Seychelles

La Réserve’s first expansion beyond Europe brings six private villas to Praslin’s quiet northeastern shore, overlooking the protected waters of Curieuse Island. Each villa has four to six bedrooms, and the largest reach nearly 9,500 square feet. Every one comes with a private pool, a full kitchen and direct beach access, wrapped in palm-frond roofs, exotic local woods and soft stone tones. Stays include a dedicated Maître de Maison, a private chef cooking three meals a day from the day’s catch and garden herbs, airport transfers, and island excursions from snorkeling and paddleboarding to rainforest hikes.

Following the success of its Kyoto sister, Mitsui Fudosan’s new flagship resort takes root on the former grounds of Mitsui family villas within Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park. All 126 rooms, suites and villas are designed by Yabu Pushelberg, and each comes with a private natural hot spring bath and a balcony facing Mount Sengen. The hotel draws from its own Kowakudani Onsen source to feed a thermal spring, an infinity-style outdoor bath and a five-room spa. Dining spans all-day RIVERINE under Executive Chef Hiroshi Takahashi and SANKEI, a refined Japanese experience from Michelin-starred Executive Chef Hiroyuki Kurosu.
Bourbon Hotel - Courchevel, France | December 2026
French collection Chapitre Six arrives in Courchevel 1850 with an intimate ski-in, ski-out hideaway of 28 rooms and three suites in the Golden Triangle of Les Trois Vallées. Parisian Studio Henry dressed the interiors like a private London club, with velvet, dark wood and low lighting throughout. Artistic director Pierre-Alexis Guinet, known for his work with Balenciaga and Hermès, frames the peaks through floor-to-ceiling glass. Chef Simone Zanoni opens his first mountain restaurant, the Italian-inspired Simonetta, alongside a cocktail and vinyl bar poised to become an après-ski favorite.
Khensani River Lodge - MalaMala Game Reserve, South Africa | December 2026
Fifteen years in the making, Khensani River Lodge is the most design-led property yet from Tengile MalaMala Collection. Its nine suites sit directly on the Sand River, offering a quieter, slower safari shaped by the rhythms of the riverbank. MalaMala’s unfenced border with Kruger National Park brings exceptional wildlife access. The lodge also has a story beyond the bush: the collection is co-owned by the local community and the Saad family, making it one of South Africa’s few community-partnered safari brands.
Kimpton Suntaya Bali Ubud - Ubud, Bali, Indonesia | Late 2026

This 101-room resort marks Kimpton’s debut in Indonesia and IHG’s first presence in Bali. It sits along the sacred Wos River, tucked into Ubud’s green hillsides yet minutes from the town center, the art market and Ubud Palace. Wellness runs through the entire stay rather than living on a spa menu: before arriving, guests choose an intention (Renewal, Energy, Flow or Encounter) that shapes experiences from meditation dome sessions to riverside movement and treatments at Sakshi spa. Among five dining venues, Michelin-starred Chef Hirofumi Imamura leads both an intimate omakase and a refined izakaya concept.
KAIA Koh Phangan - Koh Phangan, Thailand | January 2027
From Bound and Beyond, the team behind Capella Bangkok, KAIA introduces a new brand of luxury outdoor resorts built in close dialogue with nature. The first location features 31 ocean-facing tented suites and four two-bedroom pool villas crafted from upcycled teak and recycled materials. Fire-driven cooking draws from its own organic farm and beehives, while experiences range from ceramics workshops and forest foraging to longtail boat ice baths and squid safaris, all anchored by a beachfront clubhouse.
Cambridge House, Auberge Collection - Mayfair, London | February 2027

Auberge Collection’s UK debut, now taking bookings, restores a Grade I-listed Georgian mansion at 94 Piccadilly. Dating to 1756, the building once hosted Queen Victoria and later housed the famed “In & Out” Naval and Military Club. Jean-Louis Deniot designs the 102 rooms and guest spaces, while Laura Gonzalez takes on the signature bar, the wellness floors and a members’ club arriving later in 2027. Major Food Group brings Major’s to the restored ballroom and jasmine-lined courtyard, blending the American chophouse with the London grill, and a three-floor wellness space adds hydrotherapy, a heated pool and a fire-pit relaxation lounge.

Viceroy returns to New York with a 252-room hotel at Park Avenue South and 29th Street in NoMad, featuring interiors by Meyer Davis Studio and food and beverage from Tao Group Hospitality. Rooms rank among Manhattan’s more generous, with warm woods, textured stone and custom furnishings creating a calm, residential feel above the city. Standouts include a 2,000-square-foot duplex suite and a Wellness Penthouse outfitted with an infrared sauna, cold plunge and recovery tech. A rooftop pool and spa will welcome to locals and guests alike.
Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch - London, UK | March 2027

Brach Roma - Rome, Italy | March 2027

Evok Collection’s Brach brand lands in Rome for its third outpost after Paris and Madrid, converting a 5,000-square-meter former school steps from the Tiber and Piazza del Popolo. Under Philippe Starck’s artistic direction, the 60 rooms and suites offer a relaxed, understated take on five-star luxury, designed to draw Romans as much as visitors. A rooftop bar, a Brach restaurant with an Italian bar, and a sport and wellness club with a 25-meter indoor pool round out the property.
