Badrutt’s Palace, St Moritz.
What types of travelers does the property cater to?
Badrutt’s Palace appeals to guests who enjoy an active yet refined escape, those who want more than just a place to stay. Whether it’s tennis, padel, hiking, sailing or skiing, there’s an incredible breadth of experiences on offer throughout the year. It’s particularly well suited to travellers who like to combine outdoor adventure with indulgence, as well as couples and families alike. The hotel launched their newly reimagined Palazzino Kids Club in 2026, perfect for families. Whether visiting for a summer escape on the lake or a classic winter season. It has long attracted an illustrious clientele, including Audrey Hepburn, Marlene Dietrich, Alfred Hitchcock, and Charlie Chaplin.

What makes the property special?
Badrutt's Palace is uniquely positioned on the world's highest luxury shopping street, offering unparallelled convenience. Unlike other luxury hotels where guests require transfers or taxis to reach shopping districts, Badrutt's Palace features boutiques located directly within and around the property. The hotel elevates this through exclusive after-hours shopping experiences - with fashion houses such as Cartier, Celine, and Yves Saint Laurent, opening exclusively for guests upon request.
Don’t miss:
The dining is a destination in itself, with 11 restaurants and two bars, there’s a real sense of variety, from elegant fine dining to more relaxed, atmospheric settings. In the summer, private sailing on the lake aboard the Palace’s own yacht is a standout, along with hiking through the Engadin and paddleboarding on the lake. Especially playing padel on Europe’s highest padel court. Come winter, it’s all about the classics, skiing and snowboarding on world-class slopes, or horse-drawn carriage rides through the Engadin. Its legendary annual NYE party, an invitation-only evening famed for black-tie elegance, world-class entertainment, and midnight fireworks over the lake, remains one of the most exclusive events in Europe.

What’s the name and location of the property?
Four Seasons Resort Nevis is a luxury beachfront property set along Pinney’s Beach on the island of Nevis, part of St. Kitts and Nevis. It’s tucked between the Caribbean Sea and the lush, green slopes of Nevis Peak, so you get that perfect balance of oceanfront calm and dramatic natural beauty that immediately makes the destination feel intimate and removed in the best way.
What types of travelers does the property cater to?
The resort really caters to the kind of traveler who values privacy, space, and a more meaningful luxury experience. Think couples and honeymooners looking for something romantic but not overly produced, families who want a polished yet relaxed Caribbean escape, wellness travelers, and high-net-worth guests who appreciate discretion. It aligns perfectly with Nevis’ overall positioning—this isn’t about volume, it’s about attracting travelers who want authenticity, connection, and that understated, boutique feel.

What makes it special?
What makes the property special is that it delivers true “barefoot luxury” in a way that feels natural, not forced. You have the full Four Seasons level of service, but it’s layered with the warmth and sincerity of Nevisian hospitality, so it feels personal rather than transactional. The setting is expansive and unspoiled, the villas and rooms give you real space and privacy, and the whole experience leans into that idea of sophistication without pretension. It’s luxury that feels effortless, which is exactly what Nevis does so well .
Don’t miss:
When it comes to musts, the experience is really about leaning into the island. On property, you have to take advantage of the golf course—it’s one of the most scenic in the Caribbean—and carve out time for the spa, which pulls in local influences. Food-wise, it’s all about fresh, farm-to-table flavors; you’ll see a lot of local seafood, mango when it’s in season, and dishes that reflect the island’s culinary identity. Beyond the resort, I always recommend getting out to hike Nevis Peak or explore the island’s historic sites like Hamilton’s birthplace or the old sugar estates, because that’s where you really start to understand the depth of the destination. And if timing allows, experiencing something like the Mango Festival or Culturama adds that extra layer of culture and connection that makes Nevis feel so distinct.
La Casa de la Playa, Mexico

Property name and location:
La Casa de la Playa in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
What types of travelers does the property cater to?
La Casa de la Playa is perfect for adults and couples looking for an ultra-luxe, all-inclusive escape. This hotel completely changed how I think about all-inclusive resorts. I recently went with my family and we were blown away by the level of luxury. The property welcomes guests age 16 and up, so the guests are mostly couples, or families with grown children!

What makes the property special?
With just 63 suites, La Casa de la Playa feels intimate, but the experience is anything but small. Guests have access to multiple pools, standout restaurants (including one with a Michelin Star), a private beach, plunge pool suites, incredible staff, and a dedicated 24-hour butler team. And when you’re ready for something a little more adventurous, the affiliated Xcaret parks are surprisingly fun too. You could spend a week here and not get tired of it. The resort has redefined the idea of all-inclusive and goes above and beyond to personalize each stay.
Don’t miss:
Start your day with the wellness circuit at Muluk Spa, order lunch by the pool, take a nap in the hammock over your suite’s plunge pool, and rinse off in your outdoor bathtub. For dinner, go to Lumbre and get the roasted marrow with chicharrón. End the night with a sweet treat from the 24-hour chocolaterie, or stop by the 24-hour tequila bar and wine cellar, where you can grab whatever you want, whenever you want.
