What’s the name and location of the property?

Zannier Bai San Ho; Phu Yen, Vietnam

What types of travelers does the property cater to?

People who value discretion, have high standards, and want to experience one of the most spectacular hidden gems in the world. You have to make the effort to get there, but this is central Vietnam at its finest. The best way to go is via the Vietage train – a 5-6 hour journey on a vintage art deco train that has an on-board mixologist, 3-course lunch, and utter luxury as you pass by the serene Vietnamese countryside.

What makes the property special?

It’s hard to choose! The beachfront villas are out of this world, but so are the ones tucked away up above if you are sun-averse. Practically a mile of white sand beach and extraordinary culinary offerings – you can have dinner in a rice paddy field while being serenaded by local performers or at the main restaurant with sweeping views of pristine ocean and jungles.

What are the musts – any specific food to try, activity to do, etc.?

Definitely go out in one of the basket boats and take an e-foil. SO fun. The beach bar is incredible, and so is a morning hike to do meditation overlooking the insanely beautiful surroundings.

Hotel: Little Palm Island; Little Torch Key, Florida

What’s the name and location of the property?

Little Palm Island is a secluded private island hideaway off Little Torch Key, off the coast of southern Florida, accessible only by boat or seaplane. It’s America’s only private-island resort, floating just far enough from the world to feel beautifully removed.

What types of travelers does the property cater to?

Adults-only, the island is designed for travelers who seek quiet luxury and deep presence — romantics, celebrators, and discerning guests who value privacy, intention, and unscripted connection. With only 30 bungalows woven into the palms, it feels personal by nature: intimate, restorative, and profoundly private.

What makes the property special?

Little Palm Island offers a rare return to natural rhythm — a place where history lingers softly, the sea sets the pace, and every detail is quietly indulgent. With just 30 oceanfront bungalows, arriving by motor yacht or seaplane, it feels like stepping into a storied retreat set in the present tense. Uniquely, the entire island can be reserved for full buyouts, allowing private celebrations to unfold in complete seclusion, with the island’s beauty and rhythm entirely your own.

What are the musts – any specific food to try, activity to do, etc.?

Begin with sunset cocktails at the open-air Monkey Hut, followed by a chef-driven menu that brings the island’s surroundings to life through fresh, globally inspired cuisine. By day, drift between hammocks, explore the vibrant Looe Key reef, unwind in the island’s Bali-inspired spa, or simply let the world fall away from your private verandah — each moment an invitation to slow down and savor the island’s quiet magic.

Hotel: Hemingways Eden Residence; Nairobi, Kenya

What’s the name and location of the property?

Hemingways Eden Residence; Nairobi, Kenya

What types of travelers does the property cater to?

A place for people who love art, fashion, and design. It was originally built in the 90s by the late artist and filmmaker Tonio Trzebinski and his wife, fashion designer Anna Trzebinski, as their home. Now a small hotel, it still focuses on contemporary African art, design, and fashion.

What makes the property special?

The property is situated in a serene and lush corner of Nairobi’s most affluent neighborhoods. It only has nine beautifully designed rooms—some in the main house, a couple of lofts, and a little cottage. The whole setting makes it feel more like an estate than a hotel, and there are artworks and sculptural pieces everywhere. One of my favorite parts is the restaurant. It overlooks a small pond and features some amazing artworks. It’s super romantic.

What are the musts – any specific food to try, activity to do, etc.?

Hemingways Eden Residence hosts a number of regular cultural events, private workshops, art excursions, fabric design, and weaving workshops guided by local artists and craftspeople. There are art-led evenings that involve painting and wine, music performances in the garden, fashion shows, and more, all allowing guests to dive into Nairobi’s cultural pulse. I also highly recommend a gin & tonic at the super stylish bar. Kenyan Procera gin is definitely a must. It is distilled from African juniper berries and comes with a sprinkle of botanical salt.
