Islas Secas Reserve & Lodge is a private archipelago of 14 volcanic islands in the Pacific Ocean, Islas Secas Reserve & Lodge. Keep your eyes on this property, as doors will officially open in January 2019 (though they are open for a soft opening now through June of this year). 


La Paz, Bolivia
Lia Batkin, co-founder of luxury travel concierge service In the Know Experiences, who's also editor of chic travel blog Vacation Style, gave us intel on Bolivia's destination-worthy features. "The world’s largest salt flat, Salar de Uyuni famous for its otherworldly landscapes with salt as white as snow that look like you’re walking on clouds. It actually has the best amazon wildlife spotting in South America for a very inexpensive price, the pampas tour (a wetland savannah area where the chance of seeing animals is much higher as they aren’t hidden amongst trees)  is a real highlight of the country’s eco-tourism," she said. "Lake Titicaca is one of the most amazing sites (and a must do when there), famous for its crystal clear waters that reflect the snowy peaks of the nearby Cordillera Real."

Bursting with energy, São Paulo, Brazil reveals a vibrant life at the vanguard of style and culture.


Palácio Tangará

Where to stay: 
Oetker Collection’s recently-opened Palácio Tangará is an urban oasis in it’s own right. It’s home to three dining experiences led by Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, and the Flora Spa bears the prestigious Sisley signature. 


Alaska
Travelers are heading to Alaska for everything from experiencing the northern lights to heli-skiing, not to mention that Alaskan seafood.

The Hudson Valley
Defined as the region just north of New York City, The Hudson Valley is rich in farmers, makers, and purveyors as well as in thoughtfully curated galleries, vintage shops, and history.


Troutbeck

Where to stay:
Troutbeck is situated only two hours north of Manhattan in the quaint but lively town of Amenia.


London
All eyes are on London in 2018, and the city is at the top of jetsetters’ list for destinations to visit next.

The Berkeley, located in Knightsbridge, recently emerged from an extensive renovation. Don’t miss  “Out of the Blue”--a 360-degree cocktail experience where film and molecular scents combine with bespoke cocktails--nor Pret-a-Portea, their famed afternoon tea.


Claridge’s

The art deco influence, not to mention the iconic grand staircase, are only two of the details that make Claridge’s an Instagrammer’s dream. After you’ve snapped your pic, have a drink at the legendary Claridge’s Bar.


Helene Darroze at The Connaught

The Connaught hits the trifecta of dining, drinking and divine amenities with Jean-Georges at The Connaught, Helene Darroze at The Connaught and the Aman Spa.

On that note, guests of 
Brown’s Hotel, a Rocco Forte hotel, will have the opportunity to try the hotel’s new restaurant by Michelin-Starred Chef Heinz Beck, which is set to open in late April.

Berlin
The German capital is more edgy and exciting than ever. The progressive city is a hotbed of artistic creation and has an emerging culinary scene where you might find a Michelin-starred restaurant in a Graffiti-covered building.

What to do:
The Staatsoper Unter den Linden (Berlin State Opera) officially reopened in December on the historic Boulevard Unter den Linden.

Brussels
An underground hotspot in the international contemporary art and design scene, Brussels is where in-the-know travelers go for both commerce and creation.

Comporta Portugal
On Comporta, Lia Batkin tells us, "This new hot spot has both a sophisticated feel and laid back vibe with amazing white sandy beaches."

Hamburg is an elegant and vibrant city that reflects a modern, dynamic Germany.

Monte-Carlo
This year will be the 76th edition of the iconic Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix.

The Societe des Bains de Mer’s establishments will open their doors to Grand Prix fans from around the world.


Morocco
Morocco is accessible destination that doesn't require a visa, yet offers the sense of adventure many travelers are seeking.

Venice
Foodies won’t want to miss this destination, for reasons outside the obvious.


Marriott Venice Resort & Spa

What to do: 
Set on its own private island, Marriott Venice Resort & Spa and Food & Wine will be hosting the first-ever Food & Wine Festival in Europe in early May.  


Uganda

In 2018, all eyes are turning to Uganda.

Mount Gahinga Lodge

Where to stay: 
Stay at Mount Gahinga Lodge with Volcanoes Safaris, a six-room adventure lodge in southern Uganda.


Niseko, Japan
Third on Lia Batkin's list, she tells us of Niseko: "Some of the best snow for skiing and snowboarding in the world, combined with the best dinning you can imagine makes for one of the coolest ski towns around."
