'Tis the Season for Holiday Pop-Ups

With so much going on before the year ends, it can be hard to stop and get into the spirit of the holidays. An easy way to get that festive feeling is by stopping in at one of these decked out holiday pop-ups. If the over-the-top decor and seriously thought-out themes don’t do it for you, the spiked winter drinks and warm seasonal snacks will.

Clicquot Chalet at Mr. Purple

Mr. Purple at Hotel Indigo is now Clicquot Chalet. The Lower East Side’s very own sky-high après-ski lodge, the rooftop lounge is complete with digital fireplaces and blankets a plenty. The chic Chalet also features a major snow globe space, complete with a champagne bar as well as warm, festive sips and snacks.

diptyque Holiday Pop-up Shop at The St. Regis New York

The St. Regis New York and diptyque partnered to transform the hotel’s Cognac Room into a sensory retail space inspired by the perfumer’s 2018 “The Legend of the North” Holiday Collection. The glitzy silver and gold details are a nod to Parisian designer Pierre Marie, whom the brand collaborated on the collection with. Look closely and you’ll also notice vintage suitcases that pay homage to by The Astors, St. Regis’s founding family know for their famous fetes.

Winter Garden at The Standard, East Village

The Standard, East Village has brought back its Winter Garden for another year of festive fun. Guests are welcome to enjoy winter cocktails and cheese fondue in its signature heated alpine yurts. Those complimentary furs (for borrowing only) are back, too.

Ophelia

It may be awhile before rooftop season returns, but indoor options can do wonders for cabin fever. Ophelia lounge, nestled at the top of the Beekman Tower, is decked out in holiday decor, glittering with crystal garlands. The menu got a similar makeover with seasonal cocktails and decadent desserts.

Baileys Treat Bar at Saks Fifth Avenue

The Baileys Treat Bar at Saks Fifth Avenue is in its last weekend, so stop by the pop up for your spiked sips by Sunday. The Bar is serving complimentary hot chocolate and coffee with Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur and other festive holiday toppings, so you can warm up while you shop.
