With Thanksgiving behind us and Christmas and Hanukkah rapidly approaching, the holiday season is officially upon us! Make sure to take a break from gift shopping, decorating and entertaining your in-laws to celebrate! We rounded up a few of the most festive parties and events of the season.
New York Botanical Garden Winter Wonderland Ball:
The Winter Wonderland Ball remains an iconic part of the NYC holiday season. Guests will enjoy a blacktie event featuring cocktails, dinner, and dancing in sight of the Haupt Conservatory's twinkling holiday display. Begin the evening with cocktails under the dome of the Palms of the World Gallery. Afterward guests will gather in the Conservatory Tent for dinner and dancing in a (you guessed it) winter wonderland setting.
ACRIA Holiday Dinner:
ACRIA hosts the 21st annual holiday dinner that celebrates work in HIV and AIDS research and activism. Actress Judith Light will receive the Elizabeth Taylor award and Casey Fremont will receive the Alison Gertz Young Leadership award. Guests will enjoy a cocktail hour, dinner and silent auction.
amfAR Generation Cure Holiday Party:
Make sure to party for a good cause this season! amfAR’s generationCURE Holiday Party is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season. Sip on festive cocktails while enjoying music and a silent auction at Cadillac House. The evening will feature music by Sam Ronson and Jilly Hendrix. All proceeds go to amfAR.
Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting:
They can’t all be glamorous galas! Perfect for bringing out of towners and those in-laws we mentioned, the annual tree lighting event will feature a Swarovski star and surprise performances. The tree will be on view until January 7th, for those who would rather skip the crowds. Plus, when the tree gets taken down it will be donated to Habitat for Humanity to use as lumber.
Baccarat and Town & Country's Holiday Pop-Up:
Baccarat hosts their first ever pop-up shop along with Town & Country! Stemware, barware and lighting from the brand will be available along with a curated group of gifts from other brands including jewelry and home decor. The shop is open now until December 31st. Daily hours are 11 am to 5 pm Monday through Saturday and 12 to 5 pm on Sunday.
