Drinks to Try for Dry or Damp January (And Beyond)

It seems like more people are participating every year; a recent Tinder report, for example, discovered that one in three Canadian young adults of legal drinking age were planning to partake in dry or damp January.  Whether you've committed to this alcohol-free month or you're on a longer journey towards a lifestyle change, there are tons of options for non-alcoholic as well as low-ABV sips we recommend. Dry January

Mingle Mocktails Blackberry Hibiscus Bellini

Ingredients: 

4oz Mingle Mocktails Blackberry Hibiscus Bellini

5-6 dashes Aromatic Bitters

2 dashes Grenadine

Splash of Club Soda

Garnish of your choice

Method: Pour Mingle Mocktails Blackberry Hibiscus Bellini, bitters and grenadine in a shaker. Combine with a stirring spoon. Pour over ice and splash with club soda. Garnish and enjoy!

Ingredients: 

2oz BARE Tequila

0.75oz Lime Juice

0.75oz Lavender infused agave

0.25 Ginger Juice

1 dropper of All the Bitter Lavender bitters

Garnish: Dehydrated Lime Wheel

Method: Shake double strain on regular ice and garnish.  

Gran Blanco’s Optimist Marg

Ingredients: 

1oz Optimist ‘Smokey’

0.75oz lemon

0.75oz lime

0.5oz agave

Method: Shake and serve in a Collins glass rimmed with Tajin. Top with a splash of sparkling water and serve with a dehydrated lime wheel.

Ingredients:

2oz Wilderton Zero Proof Bittersweet Aperitivo (Hood River, Oregon)

1.5oz soda

0.5oz fresh lemon

3 dashes All the Bitters’ Non-Alcoholic Orange Bitter (Chico, California)

Method: Combine Wilderton Zero Proof Bittersweet Aperitivo, All the Bitters' non-alcoholic Orange Bitters and fresh lemon juice in a mixing tin with ice, stir until chilled. Strain into a rocks glass with crushed ice and top with soda. Garnish with an orange peel.

Mocktail Girlie’s Spicy Pineapple Mocktail

Ingredients:

4oz pineapple juice

0.5oz agave 

Sliced jalapeño 

Half a lime, juiced 

Method: Add jalapeños, fresh lime juice, agave and pineapple juice to a shaker. Muddle the jalapeno and add ice. SHAKE IT UP! Then add tajin or salt to the rim, pour over ice and enjoy!
