BA53MENT, NYC - Opening September 2025

Opening September 10, BA53MENT is the Altamarea Group’s new hidden speakeasy tucked beneath 53 on 53rd Street, adjacent to MoMA. Intimate and moody, the space is anchored by a high-fidelity sound system, an original cocktail menu from award-winning bartender Aaron Kim, and a selection of light bites. Designed by ICRAVE’s Journey Studio, the jewel-box lounge channels late-night Tokyo with a modern Midtown edge. Programming ranges from live jazz to vinyl DJ sets, making BA53MENT a must-visit destination for immersive cocktails and music.

Time Out Market New York, Union Square – Opening September 2025

Time Out Market is expanding beyond Dumbo this fall with a new outpost in Union Square. Opening September 2025 on the ground floor of Zero Irving, the 10,000-square-foot space will feature seven kitchens, a full bar, a terrace, and space for performances and cultural programming. Like its Brooklyn counterpart, the Union Square location will spotlight rising culinary talent and local artists, curated by the editors of Time Out New York. The chef lineup already includes Kwame Onwuachi with his Patty Palace concept, with more names to be announced soon.

KYU Grab & Go, NYC - Now Open

KYU Grab & Go marks the restaurant group’s expansion into the fast-premium space with a new walk-up window at its NoHo location. Launched June 12, the concept serves smoky chicken sandwiches, veggie-forward bowls, and beverage collabs with Art of Tea and Brooklyn-based Big Apple Roasters. Designed for New Yorkers on the move, it’s available Thursday through Sunday during lunch hours. Known for its wood-fired flavors and buzzy global locations, KYU now brings its signature style to a takeout-friendly format.

Cleo at Balfour, Miami Beach - Now Open

Cleo has officially opened in Miami Beach’s South of Fifth neighborhood, offering Eastern Mediterranean cuisine with a modern twist. Guests can enjoy shareable, mezze-style dishes like spice-marinated chicken, butcher’s lamb kofte, wagyu beef skirt steak, and grilled shrimp skewers. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Cleo also hosts weekly and monthly events, including Wine Wednesdays, Tiny Tini Thursdays, masterclasses, pop-ups, and a collaborative female-chef dinner series under Executive Chef Camila Olarte.

Da Angelino Cucina Italiana - Opening September 2025
Da Angelino brings soulful Italian cooking and house-made pastas to CocoWalk this September. The 4,400-square-foot space, a collaboration between Ariete Hospitality Group and Graspa Group, is led by Florentine-born Angelin Kometa and features soft sage and terra-cotta tones, white tablecloths, and a garden-style patio. The menu highlights Italy’s regions with standout dishes like tableside Cacio e Pepe, Brasato al Barolo, and a 1.5-pound Rib-Eye for Two, paired with thoughtfully curated wines from Italy, Napa, Spain, and France.

Amazónicom, Miami - Opening September 2025
The internationally acclaimed (London, Dubai, Madrid, and Monte-Carlo) Amazónico opens its first U.S. location in Miami’s Brickell district this September. Known for its jungle-inspired design and globally celebrated Latin American cuisine, the three-story Miami spot will feature indoor and outdoor dining along with a rooftop lounge. The menu showcases a fusion of Latin-American, Nikkei, and Mediterranean flavors, bringing the brand’s signature music, design, and culinary energy to a new audience.

Clementine, Yountville - Now Open

Clementine brings a refreshing new energy to Yountville with a playful, ingredient-driven take on California cuisine. Led by Executive Chef Rebecca Weitzman, the menu blends Mediterranean influences with Northern California’s seasonal bounty, offering dishes that feel both inventive and approachable. Signature touches include stone-fired flatbreads, vibrant seafood starters, balanced mains, and a sweet finish of rotating gelatos and clementine sorbet. Complementing the menu is a spirited beverage program of citrus-forward cocktails, non-alcoholic spritzes, and a curated wine list. With its inviting design and joyful attention to detail, Clementine is poised to become a new local favorite.

Horsefeather Palo Alto - Now Open

Horsefeather Palo Alto opened in late June, bringing the San Francisco restaurant’s elevated-casual New American dining to Town & Country Village. Executive Chef Johanna Frégoso Ruiz leads a menu of bold, approachable dishes, complemented by a thoughtful cocktail program from SF General Manager Dzu Nguyen. The space, designed by owner-operator Justin Lew, blends timeless American Arts & Crafts and Danish Modernism for a stylish, welcoming atmosphere, with a private dining room and pet-friendly patio coming later this summer.

The Penrose Room at The Broadmoor, Colorado Springs - Now Open

The Broadmoor has reopened its legendary restaurant, The Penrose Room, in a fully reimagined space designed by Tihany Design. Perched atop the South Tower, the restaurant offers sweeping views of Cheyenne Mountain and includes a lounge, whiskey room, flexible main dining area, and a speakeasy, The Polo Club. Blending historic grandeur with modern elegance, the interior features warm gold, jade, and copper tones, with western-themed artwork and train-inspired details honoring founders Spencer and Julie Penrose.

VanHorn’s, Austin - Opening Fall 2025

From the chef duo behind Austin favorites Bill’s Oyster and Teddy’s, VanHorn’s is set to open this fall in downtown Austin’s 2nd Street District. The New York-inspired steakhouse blends tradition with approachability, offering Pat LaFrieda dry-aged steaks, burgers, and a high-low menu designed for casual nights out or special celebrations. The 2,400-square-foot space, designed with understated elegance by Johanna Barger and MMD Architecture, combines rich hues, warm lighting, and wood and leather details to create a sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere. 

Nela, London - Opening Fall 2025

This autumn, acclaimed Amsterdam restaurant Nela will open at London’s iconic landmark, The Whiteley. Founded by internationally renowned chefs Hari Shetty and Ori Geller, along with British entrepreneur Gilad Hayeem, they will bring their live fire cooking to the capital. The restaurant will feature an open kitchen, offering guests a view of the culinary action, a 360° centrepiece bar, creating a vibrant atmosphere for guests to enjoy the carefully curated cocktail and drinks menu, a private dining room and an outdoor terrace.

F&B Launches & Happenings

Caviar Kaspia at The Mark Hotel x Happier Grocery ‘Happier with Kaspia’

Caviar Kaspia at The Mark Hotel teamed up with Happier Grocery for their first-ever culinary collaboration: the limited-edition “Happier with Kaspia” poke bowl. Launched earlier this summer, the bowl blends Caviar Kaspia’s iconic Baeri Caviar with Happier Grocery’s health-forward ingredients, including organic salmon, wild yellowfin tuna, avocado, European cucumber, and Japanese wakame. Available at both the Upper East Side restaurant and Happier Grocery’s downtown location, this collaboration marries refined indulgence with conscious, clean eating.

FrutaPOP

FrutaPOP is reinventing the ice pop with gourmet, alcohol-infused and mocktail pops made without added sugars, syrups, or dyes. Each boozy pop, or “poptail,” contains 5% ABV and comes in cocktail-inspired flavors like Piña Colada, Guava Cosmo, Watermelon Margarita, and Lemon Rosé. The brand has already made waves with custom collaborations this summer, including pops for The Tony Awards at The Empire Hotel in NYC and a partnership with Theory NYC.

DioniLife Zero-Proof Spirits

From dinner parties to nights out, the sober-curious movement is reshaping how we celebrate, and DioniLife is bringing that spirit to cocktails. The new portfolio from the team behind cult-favorite NA beer Mash Gang introduces two premium zero-proof spirits: La Borosa, a bold agave-based option with warming spices, and Parvari 17, a Mediterranean-inspired aperitif featuring blood orange, hibiscus, gentian root, and rosemary. Both are crafted to deliver complexity, ritual, and flavor, whether sipped neat or used in spritzes, negronis, or margaritas.

CasAzar Tequila

CasAzar Tequila, founded by Miami-based husband-and-wife team Viviana Sierraalta-Ramirez and Max Ramirez, is making waves in the ultra-premium tequila space. Launched in November 2024, the brand embodies the spirit of “betting on oneself,” a philosophy reflected in its early success and multiple industry accolades, including medals from the Spirits Business Tequila & Mezcal Masters and the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Recently named the official ultra-premium tequila of the Marlins, CasAzar is gaining traction in both Florida and New York.
