Canadian Agency of the Year
Heads and Tales was built on a deliberate challenge to the agency norms that no longer serve people or the work. Founded in 2023, the agency was designed around a belief that creative excellence, strong culture, and business performance are not competing priorities but mutually reinforcing ones. Over the past year, that belief translated into its strongest results to date, with topline revenue growing by 50%, profits increasing by 21%, and the team expanding from 10 to 17 full time employees. Growth was paired with retention and engagement metrics that outperform industry benchmarks, supported by an embedded leadership and performance coaching model that gives every employee access to structured development and one to one coaching. The agency also expanded its scope, evolving from a PR-focused shop into a full communications partner spanning media relations, social strategy, community management, and corporate communications, with new mandates across consumer brands, financial services, and legal sectors. In 2025, Heads and Tales launched its own Toronto based content studio, creating a physical home for ideation, production, and community driven programming. Across culture, commerce, and cause-led work, the agency delivered campaigns that not only earned national attention but influenced policy, funding, and public conversation. Together, these results reflect an agency redefining what sustainable growth and modern leadership can look like in Canada.
