Sara Fitzmaurice is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of FITZ & CO, a leading strategic communications and cultural advisory firm at the intersection of art, luxury, and culture. Since founding the agency in 1995, Sara has been a driving force in shaping how the art world and its adjacent industries communicate, collaborate, and grow. She and her team advise a global roster of clients spanning museums, auction houses, art fairs, foundations, and brands seeking to engage cultural audiences—including long-term partnerships with Art Basel, for which she has provided counsel since 1996. Under her leadership, FITZ & CO has led campaigns that elevate artists, institutions, and brands alike, from launching Art Basel Miami Beach to guiding the fair’s international expansion to Hong Kong and Paris. More recently, Sara has led the agency’s work helping museums and cultural organizations embrace the digital age, establishing Art Basel’s Digital Art Council and producing the inaugural Digital Canvas Summit in partnership with Beeple Studios and the Toledo Museum of Art.
