With more than 25 years of experience, she has built Spotted MP into a trusted partner for global and mission-driven organizations across economic development, real estate, hospitality, lifestyle, retail, and nonprofit sectors. Maurisa has led high-impact campaigns such as the launch of Dōgon by Kwame Onwuachi at Salamander Washington DC, crafting a cultural narrative rooted in Afro-Caribbean heritage and linking the opening to the city’s history. She guided Virginia Tech’s Innovation Campus communications strategy, creating a framework that connected talent pipelines to economic growth while engaging communities, media, and stakeholders. For The Watergate Hotel, she designed a summer rooftop collaboration with lululemon, blending wellness, fashion, and iconic place-making to create immersive experiences that resonated with local and traveling audiences.
