DECIEM
Senior Director, Global New Ventures
Dakota Kate Isaacs is Senior Director of Global New Ventures at DECIEM under The Estée Lauder Companies, where she leads the company’s revitalized Incubator, building the next generation of beauty brands with speed, cultural resonance, and digital-first storytelling. Her leadership spans global strategy, marketing, communications, creative development, and P&L ownership, operating seamlessly across both creative and commercial dimensions. Dakota began her career at DECIEM as its first U.S. employee, launching The Ordinary into over 2,500 retail doors. She notably navigated high-profile turbulence in 2018, stabilizing retail relationships, rebuilding consumer trust, and preparing the business for long-term sustainability. Since then, she has scaled innovative ventures including fragrance brand AVESTAN and bath and body line, LOoPHA. Beyond brand launches, Dakota has expanded storytelling into publishing and film, leading the multi-author Ingredients – a Rizzoli/Penguin Random House landmark on ingredient transparency – and serving as Executive Producer of The Abnormal Beauty Company, a feature documentary that won Best Feature at Tribeca X. Dakota blends entrepreneurial agility with global brand leadership, elevating brand narratives while shaping culture and consumer trust.
