Tracy St.Pierre is the Executive Vice President of Global Communications & Marketing for Universal Studio Group (USG), where she leads a team overseeing series publicity, marketing, awards, corporate and DEI communications across four prominent TV studios: Universal Television, UCP, Universal International Studios, and Universal Television Alternative Studio. Since USG’s formation in 2020, Tracy has played a pivotal role in establishing the division as a major force in the entertainment industry, reinforcing the studio brands and driving critical acclaim for its productions. Under Tracy’s leadership, her team has shepherded global campaigns for the studio group’s impressive slate of iconic series, including the long-running Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, most recent Outstanding Comedy Emmy® Award winner Hacks, and the recently launched The Day of the Jackal, starring Eddie Redmayne and Lashana Lynch. Tracy’s innovative marketing strategies have helped position USG as a home for the world’s greatest storytellers and contributed to making its series cultural touchstones. She has spearheaded campaigns that have sparked meaningful conversations around the themes explored in television programming, while fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture within her team. Prior to USG, Tracy held leadership roles within NBCUniversal at both USA Network and SYFY, and within NBC Entertainment, where she honed her expertise in strategic communications.
Career Highlights
Led the team responsible for the conception and implementation of the new umbrella studio brand Universal Studio Group, including creative, marketing, communications and culture-building strategy
Developed “USG University,” a program that, each spring for the past four years, has connected students who are studying for future above- and below-the-line careers in the entertainment industry to creators, cast, and crew from Universal shows through a series of virtual panels
Created the scrum team that advocated for and implemented NBCU’s first best practices guide for social media promotion and talent engagement in 2007
Worked with the strategic team that brought USA’s groundbreaking series Mr. Robot wins at both the Golden Globes and the Emmys
This year, her team also brought home a Peabody Award and Pulitzer Prize for the USG Audio podcast, You Didn’t See Nothin
Oversaw publicity and strategic communications for The Tonight Show for eight years
